Officer Shawn Silvera Memorial 5K

On September 6, 2005, Officer Shawn Silvera of the Lino Lakes Police Department was struck and killed during a pursuit.
Shawn left behind a wife, two children, family, friends, and many colleagues.
In his honor and memory, the Officer Shawn Silvera Memorial 5K is being held as part of Freedom Fest at Running Aces Casino, Hotel & Racetrack on Saturday, September 24th.
