Local Minnesota nonprofits Protector’s Peak, Invisible Wounds Project, Heroes Helping Heroes, and Soldiers 6 are coming together to present the Police PTSD/Medical Retirement Ceremony on Sunday, October 2nd.
Over the past several years there have been hundreds of officers who have left service to the communities that they’ve faithfully served due to PTSD. Most unceremoniously left, without receiving the proper recognition for their service and sacrifice. We want to give each officer a proper send off and recognize them for all that they did for their communities throughout their careers.
This event is free to officers, and their immediate families, spouses, significant others. We will also livestream the event for family/friends who wish to watch.
